They also come standard with enhanced options such as built in LED lights under the arms, and a cassette housing that protects your rolled up awning from the elements to give longer life to you investment.
Our Retractable Awnings can be made to exact custom widths from 10′ wide up to 40′ wide, and they come in three projections: 8′, 10′, and 12′. We can help cover any space and help protect you from direct sunlight and harsh heat and glare.
We have 30 Sunbrella fabrics in-stock and ready for your project However, if that’s not enough, we have over 300 fabrics available to choose from, so no matter your taste in color or pattern, we’ve got a solution for you! Sunbrella fabrics are made specifically for harsh exterior conditions and are proven to provide years of service outdoors. Sunbrella’s fabrics have earned the Skin Cancer Foundation’s seal of approval as an effective UV light protection. They have also earned GREENGUARD’s gold certification for low chemical emissions.
Our Awnings Include the Following Premium Features!
All OpenView Shades’ Retractable Awnings come standard with built-in LED light strips under the arms of the awning frame. You can dim the lights for the perfect nighttime ambiance and set the mood of your outdoor space. Our LED lights are controlled with an included remote control. Light up your space and enjoy the night!
Our Solar Shield Retractable Awnings come standard with a premium feature called EZ-Pitch. This allows you to change the pitch of your awning using the included crank handle, for easy and fast adjustments. This is important for using your awning in light rain, as it allows water to run off one side to prevent pooling on the fabric. Many other awning products on the market require tools and accessing a small adjustment screw to make this change, but with our premium awnings, you can do that without needing any additional tools or ladders.
Our integrated cassette housing is another popular premium feature that comes standard on all OpenView Shades’ Retractable Awnings. The cassette protects awning fabric from weather damage, extending its life. Our fully enclosed design also helps protect from insect and bird damage when the awning fabric is fully retracted when not in use.
We offer three frame color options – white, bronze, and beige – to blend your fabric, hardware, and home together, all at no additional charge! Just another feature that make our OpenView Shades’ Retractable Awnings a premium system, at a great price, and we guarantee it!
Our awnings also come with either straight or sea-wave fabric valances. Our high-quality valances are able to be easily removed and reinstalled with little effort. This is good for winter storage to protect your valance from harsh winter elements.

We offer Retractable Awnings only at this time. We do not offer any fixed awnings or stretched awnings. We recommend retractable awnings the most, since they can be put away and protected from harsh wind when not in use.
Great question! We only offer motorized retractable awnings. Due to the weight and projection of our units, a manual crank operation for extending the awning is not advised. We complete wiring to the closest outlet during install to assure your new motorized awning works like a charm.
Our Retractable Awnings have a width range of 10' wide to 40' wide for one unit. They can project out 8', 10', and 12' from the structure the awning is attached to. Our widths can be made custom to the exact inch, so no matter the size of the space, we have a solution for you!
